Grocery shopping with 2 under 2

Me: "Alexis get your thumb out of his mouth. yucky"
... I guess I should have been more specific
Good ol' bananas save the day again
That's it William, fall asleep, that's much safer.
Happy Wordless Wednesday with My Little Drummer Boys and Faith, Hope and a Whole Lotta Love.

I have my hands full (as mentioned by several passers by).

Brave woman! I did most online in the early days but have attempted the two under shop a couple of times with a variety of outcomes. My favourite was the both screaming and I just continued shopping as though they were being angels. I decided that there was nothing I could do except get it done and get outta there.

Oh, so cute!!
Love it and so glad I didn't have 2 under 2.
I was terrible going anywhere with little babies. Much easier now they're 7 & 4!! :)

I had my 2 (under 2) in the shopping trolley and the lil man kept pulling the lil missus hair! She kept yelling NO LIL MAN! it was so funny!! A lady stopped me and told me I was going to have another one and it would be a girl.. wonder if old ladies in the supermarket are that insightful!

Awwww, very cute! Mine are 15mo apart. I ordered our groceries online for a loooong time after #2 was born, lol. They are 3.5 and almost 5 now and I still won't do a full shop with both of them on my own!

So cute, my two used to fight in the twin trolleys.
Thanks for your comment and linking up.

You did well. I took my two shopping the other day, and "Popette" had a complete meltdown in the middle of the car park, resulting in me carrying her while pushing "Cherub" in the pram!!

Tina: same to you :)

Kristy: really? Do you go at night or delivery or does Todd do it or does he go with you? Often Corey and Alexis do the groceries, they get time together and William and I get a break, it's great!

I find online shopping difficult as Alexis doesn't let me use the computer in peace.
"My favourite was the both screaming... I decided that there was nothing I could do except get it done and get outta there" - sometimes that's all you can do. Been there done that.

Thea: I found it easier when Alexis was a few months old than when she became mobile.

Yvette @ Delightfully Tacky: cute. Strange old lady!

Sonia @ Life Love and Hiccups: thank you

robyn: the fear is worse than the actual event mate :)

Belinda: thank you

Pieces of Sunshine: :) thanks

Penny @ Wildlife Fun 4 Kids: ;-)

Tamara: oh my goodness that sounds terrifying! You must have had a sore back!

Bee: I think once William outgrows the baby seat it'll be in the too-hard basket because my Alexis is not the kind of toddler you let run loose in a shop

•´.¸¸.•¨¯`♥.Trish.♥´¯¨•.¸¸.: oh my two fought the next time, William is already fond of pulling his big sister's hair. Lol! I don't know how people with twins manage, I guess you just do.:)

Julie: you win some you lose some. *hugs*.

I normally do it at night (Monday night at 8pm is the best time ever... have the WHOLE shop just about to yourself!!!) or the weekends when Todd's home, or I do little bits and pieces through the week with the girls and get as much as I can carry on the double pram (I can hang a basket off the hook things I have too!) For the big, big shops I do it online (... you can schedule deliveries for up to 2 weeks and Coles won't charge you until the day they deliver it, so you can order it a few days before payday and have it scheduled to arrive when the pay hits.... got our monthly shop already organised to arrive first thing tomorrow (payday) morning!!! Nappies, tins of formula, dog food... all the really big stuff that I can't carry with the pram!! I love it... so worth the $5 delivery fee!!!)

Great idea Kristy. I don't have pets and I don't buy formula so its not so bad for me. Corey does big ones but I personally prefer trolleys for small shops coz when I don't have the pram its easier and quicker to pack the car.;)
