I hope you get over the mastitis soon, it sounds very painful.

I know you must of heard this a dozen times, but it will get better in time. If its any consolation, I know what your going through with two little munchikins, some days it's just hard. ;-)

I can relate to so many things you have said in your post. "Popette" is usually a loving, sweet little girl, but somedays "Arrrgghh!!" She gets into everything and wants everything. Then there's the moments she wakes up "Cherub" with her screaching or "Cherub" wakes up "Popette" with her crying!!

I hope your hubby takes over the kids for you when he gets home and you can have some "me time".Julie @ Off to the Parkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00044812604091459779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2012078150698865015.post-10764112571670327962011-11-18T12:30:31.144+10:002011-11-18T12:30:31.144+10:00Hi Karlee,

With all the help from family I got I wasn't really doing it on my own but it sure did feel that way in the middle of night or uber early in the morning.

Debbie: thank you! Very wise advice.

Cherie: oh working nights is the worst! I did night shift a lot before Alexis was born and I really struggled to do anything during the day. I take my hat off to anyone who can back up a night shift with a day of toddler-wrangling! Hugs right back at ya.

Rhianna: thanks buddy that is so nice to hear. I do try hard to keep it real.:-)khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16880248015836420161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2012078150698865015.post-74251383206569600962011-11-18T00:20:45.590+10:002011-11-18T00:20:45.590+10:00Hi lovely. It's hard to think it will - when you're consumed by sleep deprivation and demands of little people - but it will get better. I can empathise with doing the parenting gig on your own - it's a very hard slog. My hubby goes away all the time, and there is no break when you're the one getting up through the night, and having to back up and do it all again the next day. You are doing a fabulous job. Continue taking it one step at a time - that's all that is manageable when you've got little ones. Don't place too many expectations on yourself. And look after YOU. Big hugs your way.xAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14049704032962492356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2012078150698865015.post-3926432460500008272011-11-17T09:35:07.619+10:002011-11-17T09:35:07.619+10:00"Sometimes she needs to be told the world doe..."Sometimes she needs to be told the world does not revolve around her. It is a hard lesson to learn. I am still learning it too"..... I think this is the hardest thing of all to come to terms with... 8 months on and I'm still struggling with it. I kinda believe the world should revolve around both of them at the age they are, but that is an unreal expectation to place on myself and finding the right balance is often really hard (no matter how organised you try and be.) You are doing an amazing job and to do it on your own is a real feat!!

Big hugs to you babe. Hope you get a bit of a break when Corey gets home and you guys get some time just to yourselves too. xxKristyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13264321399140656211noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2012078150698865015.post-61744647717589917212011-11-17T08:16:30.886+10:002011-11-17T08:16:30.886+10:00Oh Karlee, I wish there was something I could say ...Oh Karlee, I wish there was something I could say to fix it. I am reading your posts with lots of interest lately, and I think you are doing the most amazing job. I am also reading with a bit of fear as I know that it's going to be me very soon! Just take it one minute at a time. And remember that it will get better. Praying for you. xxxrobynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04351462075778087291noreply@blogger.com
